To help maintain your jewellery’s brilliance, where needed, the correct type of cleaning cloth is included with your order for routine maintenance.

Sterling Silver Jewellery 

 Sterling silver can withstand occasional exposure to water, but prolonged contact may accelerate natural oxidation. Dry thoroughly after moisture exposure to maintain its shine. 

 Over time, silver naturally develops a dark patina. To preserve its bright finish, store it in an anti-tarnish pouch or lined jewellery box when not in use.

Solid Gold Jewellery 

Solid gold is highly resistant to tarnishing and maintains its brilliance with regular care. While water won’t damage gold, exposure to chlorine, saltwater, and harsh chemicals may dull its shine over time. 

 After wear, gently wipe your gold jewellery with the included soft cleaning cloth to remove oils and maintain its sheen. Occasionally, cleanse with warm water and mild soap, then dry with a lint-free cloth for a flawless finish. 

Gold is a precious metal that can scratch if stored loosely. Keep each piece separate in a lined jewellery box or pouch to prevent surface marks. 

Gold-Plated Jewellery 

Water exposure won’t immediately damage gold plating, but for longevity, remove plated jewellery before swimming, showering, or exercising. 

Use the soft cloth provided to remove dust and restore shine. Avoid polishing cloths, abrasive cleaners, or chemical solutions that may strip the plating. 

Keep gold-plated jewellery separate in a lined jewellery box to prevent fading and scratches from contact with other metals. 

Rhodium-Plated Jewellery 

Rhodium plating gives jewellery a brilliant, mirror-like shine and protects against tarnishing. However, frequent exposure to moisture, lotions, and perfumes may gradually affect its radiance. 

Use the specialist cleaning cloth included with your order to gently buff rhodium-plated pieces and maintain their reflective finish. Avoid chemical cleaners or polishing agents that could wear down the plating. 

To prevent friction that may subtly wear down the plating over time, store rhodium-plated jewellery separately in the lined box provided with the order.  

Cubic Zirconia (CZ) Jewellery 

Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is a high-quality, diamond-like stone known for its dazzling sparkle. While durable, it benefits from regular care to maintain its brilliance. 

CZ can tolerate water, but prolonged exposure to chlorine, saltwater, and household chemicals may reduce its shine. Removing jewellery before swimming or applying lotions will help maintain clarity.

Moissanite Jewellery 

Moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones, ranking 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, second only to diamond (10). This makes it highly resistant to scratches, perfect for everyday wear. 

While moissanite is extremely durable, exposure to harsh chemicals, including chlorine and household cleaners, can affect its brilliance over time. To maintain its sparkle, avoid unnecessary contact with these substances.

Though moissanite is highly scratch-resistant, it is best stored separately in a padded jewellery box to avoid contact with softer stones that could be scratched.
